Climate Action Institute promotes free course "Human and Socio-environmental Rights in the Context of the Climate Crisis"

The Climate Action Institute is proud to present the first edition of the course Human and Socio-environmental Rights in the Context of the Climate Crisis.  

Dedicated to training in human, socio-environmental and climate rights, the course is free and will take place remotely between January 20 and February 24, 2025.  

Themes such as the international climate regime, indigenous peoples' law, disaster law, climate litigation and other topics will be discussed in classes taught by professors recognized in the academic and professional spheres.

Students and young lawyers who are black, indigenous, from traditional and peripheral communities, LGBTQIA+ and/or people with disabilities (PwD) between the ages of 18 and 30 can apply. One hundred (100) places will be available and people from the North, Northeast and Midwest regions will have priority. 

Applications must be submitted via the link below by December 15, 2024, while the results will be published on January 8, 2025.  

Participation certificates will be issued at the end of the course.
